WildLand is seeking a hands-on peatland restoration lead to plan, deliver and monitor restoration across Sutherland and the Cairngorms. You will work onsite and in the office, coordinating surveys, funding bids, and contractor delivery to improve peatland condition and related habitats.
You will collaborate with multi‑agency teams, manage access and compliance, and share best practices to drive forward conservation goals across Highlands. This role offers a full‑time, permanent position.

This role will see you working onsite across Sutherland and the Cairngorms, along with time in office. You’ll be hands on in leading the planning and delivery of our peatland restoration programme, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and acting with an informed, forward thinking and solutions focused mindset.

You will be confident and well-versed as an applied practitioner in Peatland restoration and planning, with a can-do approach to solving problems. You will thrive in working with our passionate and committed team, focused out outcomes over process, and happy to be hands-on with the delivery. You’ll be used to working on multi-agency delivery, comfortable with managing contractors and working to deadline, along with being comfortable with a range of mapping programmes.
