Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:

As a PE Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside PE Teachers to deliver engaging lessons, help organise activities, and support students in achieving their full potential. You will also provide assistance across the wider curriculum when required, ensuring pupils receive all-round support in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of PE lessons and extra-curricular sports activities.
• Assist students in developing physical skills, teamwork, and confidence.
• Supervise and encourage pupils during sports and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualifications.
• Sports-related qualification or relevant experience in coaching/teaching sports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or sports environment.
