We work in collaboration with a specialist school committed to providing high-quality, tailored education and care for pupils with SEMH needs. We believe in the power of sports to transform lives, building confidence, resilience, and teamwork in a nurturing environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable PE Teacher (Unqualified) to:

  1. Deliver and supervise engaging PE lessons and sports activities, promoting physical health and emotional well-being.
  2. Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where all pupils feel encouraged and motivated to participate.
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external coaches to enhance the overall PE curriculum.
  4. Manage challenging behavior effectively using restorative approaches and de-escalation techniques.
  5. Monitor progress and provide feedback to support pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  1. A genuine passion for sports and working with young people.
  2. Experience working with children with SEMH needs or a strong desire to learn.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Patience, resilience, and creativity in delivering sports sessions.
  5. Relevant coaching qualifications or experience (desirable but not essential).
