PE Teacher - Secondary School in Southampton
Full-time | Starting September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

Are you a qualified PE teacher looking for your next role? Whether you're an experienced professional or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this opportunity could be the perfect fit.

We are working with a well-respected, close-knit secondary school in Southampton. With over 800 students, the school is recognised for its supportive leadership, excellent student behaviour, and strong sense of community. They are now seeking a passionate PE teacher to join their team from September 2025.



The Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will:

  • Join a committed and energetic PE department in Southampton.

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Promote health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development.

  • Contribute to extra-curricular sport and whole-school events.

  • Work full-time in a long-term position with potential for permanency.



About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome).

  • Confident in teaching PE to a range of abilities across KS3 and KS4.

  • Passionate about physical activity, sport, and student wellbeing.

  • A strong team player who will support the department and contribute to wider school life in Southampton.
