Are you passionate about Physical Education and inspiring young people to lead active and healthy lives?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Croydon. As a PE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of sports and activities across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of sport and physical activity in our students.

In this PE Teacher role, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and interests.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their PE lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Promote health and wellbeing through PE and encourage students to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular sports clubs and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of PE teaching.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary level
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for PE.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
