PE Teacher / PE ECT – Secondary School – Barnet – September 2024

A ‘Good’ Secondary School in the North London Borough of Barnet is looking to appoint a PE Teacher / PE ECT to join their team on a permanent contract from September 2024.

The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working PE Teacher / PE ECT to join their welcoming and supportive team.

The Secondary School has an amazing reputation in the area and has very modern facilities. As a PE Teacher / PE ECT, you will be working in a school that aims to prepare young people for an ever-changing world that values self-confident, well-educated and enterprising people.

Your role as a PE Teacher / PE ECT will include but not be limited to:

• PE Teacher / PE ECT
• Teaching KS3 – KS4
• Delivering engaging and challenging PE lessons
• Working alongside a successful PE team
• September 2024 start
• Full time position
• Located in the London borough of Barnet

PERSON SPECIFICATION: PE Teacher / PE ECT

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Must hold UK QTS
• Strong academic background including degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Applications welcome from experienced teachers or ECTs
• Able to deliver creative and engaging PE lessons
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
• Have a registered DBS on the update service
