Job summary

The Westminster School invites applications for a PE Teacher to join our school. The post offers a pathway into teaching, supporting an unqualified teacher to gain experience and work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

You will deliver high-quality PE lessons and help pupils with diverse needs thrive and stay engaged in sport and activity. Our school provides excellent sports facilities, a supportive CPD programme and a strong, collaborative team focused on pupil welfare and achievement.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is essential for classroom and interaction with students, staff and parents.
• Role supports an unqualified teacher to gain experience and work towards QTS.
• Candidate should be passionate about helping pupils with diverse and additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons to pupils across a range of abilities.
• Monitor and assess students' progress and wellbeing in sport and activity.
• Support students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs to thrive.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide PE initiatives.
