Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S13
Pay Rate: £155 £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview:

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages, encouraging participation in a range of sports and physical activities. Your role will involve promoting a positive sporting culture while supporting students' physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver practical and theoretical PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Promote active participation, healthy lifestyles, and team spirit.
  • Assess students performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Organise and support extracurricular activities, including sports teams and school events.
  • Uphold school behaviour policies and ensure a safe learning environment.

Requirements for the PE Teacher role:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE in a UK school setting.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for physical education and student well-being.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
