Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive PE lessons across the secondary age range, following the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students, ensuring progress and enthusiasm in physical education.
  • Lead and support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and activities to enhance student participation and skill development.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage positive outcomes.
  • Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing throughout the school community, acting as a role model for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Secondary PE Teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Inspires and motivates students to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
  • Ability to deliver a broad and inclusive PE curriculum.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for extracurricular coaching/clubs.
