Job Description:
Aspire People are working in partnership with a dynamic and well-respected secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate PE Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified PE Teacher who is looking to make a positive impact on the health, wellbeing, and physical development of secondary school students. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy competition among students

Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and school teams

Monitor and assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback

Contribute to a positive school environment that fosters learning and personal growth

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Specialism or experience in teaching PE at secondary level

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A genuine passion for physical education and student development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through Aspire People)
