PE Teacher Hereford

ASAP start

Full-time, short-term placement

A mainstream secondary school in Hereford are looking for an dedicated and experienced PE Teacher who will contribute to the wider success of the school and join their Physical Education Department on a short-term basis. You should be comfortable taking on a flexible timetable which will include teaching PE to Key Stages 3 to 4, and also providing some general cover that s included in the timetable. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress.

You will be expected to have a good knowledge of the national curriculum an enthusiastic and engaging teacher.

The school are looking for a Teacher to start immediately!

The successful PE teacher will have:

• QTS (QTLS, Instructors and experienced P.E Cover Supervisors will also be considered)
• Experience in the sports coaching and/ or education sector
• 12 months experience of teaching PE to Key Stage 4
• Have the ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
• Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
• Be available 5 days a week for a short term placement, running from the start of June until the end of the academic year
