Salary: £130 £230 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 08 30

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PE Teacher to join our team from September 2025. This long-term role involves teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy living. You ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, organising sports activities, and contributing to the wider school sports programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across a variety of sports and fitness disciplines

  • Inspire and motivate students to develop physical skills and an appreciation for health and fitness

  • Prepare lesson plans, monitor progress, and assess student performance

  • Organise extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school teams

  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives

Requirements:
  • Previous experience teaching PE at secondary school level

  • Excellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and sports coaching techniques

  • Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to promoting active lifestyles and positive values through sport

  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential

  • Additional coaching qualifications are desirable
