Job description

Are you a committed and dedicated PE Teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and progressive school?

A Mansfield-based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified PE Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS3 & KS4 students. The school seeks a Teacher capable of creating engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrating effective teaching practices, and exhibiting strong behaviour management skills.

The position is full-time and includes planning and assessment under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful candidate may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants working 1:1 with SEND students.

This PE Teacher role requires:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE)
  • Two references from educational settings
  • Experience teaching PE
  • Excellent classroom management
  • Kind, warm, and nurturing nature

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with excellent classroom management, who teaches with enthusiasm and nurture, and has high expectations of learning.
