Job description

PE Teacher

An outstanding secondary school based in Hounslow is seeking a passionate and dynamic PE teacher.
The school is looking for someone to join on a long-term contract until at least July 2026, with the potential to extend.
This is a full-time position. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.


Salary will be in line with the Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale.
The school is located within walking distance of a Piccadilly Line tube station and has on-site parking available.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical health, teamwork, and resilience.

  • Support students' physical and personal development through a range of sports, fitness activities, and extracurricular opportunities.

  • Foster a love for sport and physical activity, inspiring students to lead healthy and active lifestyles beyond the classroom.

  • Contribute to the wider school community by supporting inter-house competitions, sports days, and school teams.

  • Uphold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, creating a safe and supportive environment for all learners.
