PE Teacher - Girls School, East London
Start Date: Autumn Term 2025 (with possible extension)
Salary: London MPS/UPS - 198 to 258 per day (PAYE)
Location: East London (Tower Hamlets)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (flexible options available)
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school for girls in East London, currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from the Autumn Term. Both full-time and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.

About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Promote physical health, teamwork, and personal development in a supportive environment
Lead or contribute to extracurricular sports activities and clubs
Work closely with a collaborative PE department to support student progress
Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and department expectations

Person Specification:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for sport and fitness, and a commitment to student wellbeing
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and a full 10-year employment history
Legal right to work in the UK
