Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education (Female) with a desire to inspire and empower young women through sport and physical activity? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our successful PE department on a part-time basis (4 days per week) in a leading independent girls' school in Hounslow.

About the Role:

  • Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at GCSE and A Level depending on experience and interest.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Coach school sports teams and lead extracurricular sports clubs for girls.
  • Organize and participate in sports competitions and events.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness among girls.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education.
  • Demonstrates a passion for sports and coaching, with a particular interest in inspiring and empowering girls through sport.
  • Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE and relevant coaching qualifications.
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
