Location: Stockport
Position: Female PE Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay Scale: M1 – UPS3

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Female PE Teacher for a secondary school in Stockport. The role will begin in September and run for at least one academic year, with the potential for a permanent appointment. The school has excellent sports facilities and a strong focus on physical wellbeing and extracurricular participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.

  • Lead extracurricular sports clubs and inter-school competitions.

  • Promote positive attitudes towards physical activity and teamwork.

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives promoting health and wellbeing.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and wider staff team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant PE or Sports degree.

  • Experience delivering PE across secondary key stages.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate young people to participate in physical activity.

  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to teaching.
