Job description

Wayman Group is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate PE teacher to join an exceptional school in Enfield starting in April. Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons to students of varying abilities and age groups
  2. Develop and implement appropriate physical education programs in line with the national curriculum
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
  4. Promote and encourage active participation and a personal commitment to physical fitness among students
  5. Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events, including inter-school competitions and sports clubs
  6. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to create a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement and attendance
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
  2. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  3. Proven experience teaching PE in a primary or secondary school setting
  4. Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and educational standards for physical education
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  7. A passion for physical fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle
  8. Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
