About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join an Outstanding boys school in Brent, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The successful PE Teacher will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE Teacher lessons, covering a range of sports and activities.
  • Prepare students for practical assessments.
  • Develop students' physical fitness, skills, and understanding of sports and health.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sports activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
  • Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of sports and physical activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
