Jubilee School seeks a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team, focusing on empowering neurodiverse students. Candidates should have a UK QTS or equivalent and experience in SEMH settings. The role includes curriculum implementation and providing personalized support to enhance student outcomes.
As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a PE Teacher to join our close-knit team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education.
We are seeking a PE Teacher with a therapeutic approach to their teaching and learning. Previous experience of working in an SEMH or neurodiverse environment is desirable, with proven success in implementing specialist strategies to address difficulties in communication, social interaction, sensory regulation, and behaviour that challenges us. As a PE Teacher for primary and secondary students, you will also support swimming and other offsite activities.
You will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping students reach their potential. You will collaborate with the SLT to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, lead on curriculum areas, and contribute to a lively environment. We seek individuals who share our vision to empower neurodiverse students to thrive and succeed in the world.

Jubilee School is an independent special school for pupils with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges, and additional SEND needs. Located in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth, it is linked with four residential accommodations.

Additional Information: You will work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay. This is subject to successful probation completion and is not a contractual benefit.
