PE Teacher

Job Title: PE Teacher

A Sunderland Secondary School is recruiting for a PE Teacher to start in September 2024. This is a full-time position that could become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful PE Teacher will join a supportive and collaborative department. The school received positive feedback during its recent OFSTED inspection, particularly regarding pupils' attitudes towards teaching and learning. It is located in Sunderland, with easy access to both the A1 and A19 roads.

The school welcomes applications from both experienced PE teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Responsibilities:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
• Teach PE to KS3 and KS4 students
• Demonstrate passion for the subject

Additional Information:

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This role is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
