Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Dinnington, S25
Pay Rate: GBP155 GBP220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a supportive school in Dinnington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who is enthusiastic about promoting physical well-being, teamwork, and resilience through high-quality physical education.

Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages, encouraging participation in a variety of physical activities and sports. Your role will be key in supporting students physical development, emotional well-being, and social skills.

Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver a broad range of practical and theoretical PE lessons.
  • Encourage student participation, effort, and enjoyment in physical activities.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sporting values.
  • Support students in preparation for practical and written assessments.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and events.
  • Ensure students safety during all physical activities and comply with safeguarding guidelines.

Requirements for the PE Teacher role:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE in a UK school.
  • Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for physical education and student well-being.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
