Job Overview

PE Teacher (KS3-KS4) needed in Taunton and surrounding areas.

Contract and Start Date

Flexible: Full-time, Part-time or Ad-hoc. Start date: ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Teach PE across KS3-KS4, delivering practical and theoretical sessions.
  • Encourage positive attitudes to health, fitness and teamwork.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and create a safe, inclusive learning space.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and curriculum expectations.
  • Potentially support extra-curricular clubs, fixtures and sports events.
Qualifications
  • QTS / QTLS or an unqualified but experienced sports coach.
  • Confident delivering PE across mixed abilities and year groups.
  • Positive, adaptable educator who enjoys working in new settings.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to promoting physical wellbeing and student development.
