Job Opportunity: PE Teacher - Secondary & SEN Support (Scunthorpe)

Position Details

• Position: PE Teacher (Secondary & SEN Support)

• Location: Scunthorpe

• Start Date: ASAP or by agreement

• Pay: Starting at £160 per day, with potential to increase based on performance and responsibilities

• Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons tailored to a range of abilities, including students with Special Educational Needs

• Support students with their everyday learning and personal development

• Collaborate with teaching assistants and SEN specialists to create inclusive learning environments

• Promote physical activity, teamwork, and self-confidence in all pupils

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience

• Experience working with SEN students (desirable but not essential)

• A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A genuine passion for education and student wellbeing
