Job Opportunity: PE Teacher - Secondary & SEN Support (Scunthorpe)
Are you passionate about inspiring young people through physical education? Do you have the dedication to support both secondary and SEN students in reaching their full potential? We're looking for a motivated and compassionate PE Teacher to join a supportive school community in Scunthorpe.
Position: PE Teacher (Secondary & SEN Support)
Location: Scunthorpe
Start Date: ASAP or by agreement
Pay: Starting at £160 per day, with potential to increase based on performance and responsibilities
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Deliver engaging PE lessons tailored to a range of abilities, including students with Special Educational Needs
Support students with their everyday learning and personal development
Collaborate with teaching assistants and SEN specialists to create inclusive learning environments
Promote physical activity, teamwork, and self-confidence in all pupils
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience
Experience working with SEN students (desirable but not essential)
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A genuine passion for education and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
