Full-Time PE Teacher Required – Secondary School in Salford

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Salford is looking to appoint a dedicated PE Teacher to join their staff team immediately. This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and dynamic PE specialist to secure a full-time teaching role in a supportive school environment.

About the Role:

As a PE Teacher, you’ll play an active role in delivering a broad and engaging Physical Education curriculum to pupils aged 11-16. You’ll be responsible for both practical and theory lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and will be encouraged to contribute to the school’s thriving extracurricular sports programme.

What the Role Involves:
  1. Teaching PE lessons to a range of abilities across KS3 and KS4
  2. Planning creative, active sessions that inspire and challenge pupils
  3. Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
  4. Taking part in after-school clubs, sports events and inter-school fixtures
  5. Upholding strong behaviour management and fostering positive relationships with students
