Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a passionate PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf, starting after half term.

You will deliver engaging Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning practical and theory-based lessons, supporting students to reach their academic and physical potential, and promoting participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles. The role is full-time with competitive pay and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for physical education.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
• Willingness to support extracurricular activities and school sports events.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) on a full‑time basis, starting after half term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity.

The Role

• Full‑time PE Teacher position
• Start after half term
• Based in a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT)
• Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory‑based lessons
• Supporting learners to achieve their full potential both academically and physically
• Promoting participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contributing to extracurricular sports clubs and activities
