PE Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: GBP150 - GBP220 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part Time 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday)

GSL Education London Branch is excited to be recruiting a PE Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving comprehensive girls school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate PE Teacher to inspire and motivate young women to enjoy physical education and lead healthy, active lives.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for students across KS3 and KS4

  • Promote physical activity and wellbeing in and outside the classroom

  • Organise and supervise sports clubs, teams, and extra-curricular activities

  • Encourage participation and build confidence in students of all abilities

  • Assess and track student progress in line with the school s policies

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in lessons

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

Requirements for the PE Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools (KS3/KS4 essential)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Passionate about PE and inspiring young people

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Available to work Thursdays and Fridays

  • Right to work in the UK
