Job summary

A local educational agency is seeking a passionate Secondary PE Teacher in the Liverpool area, responsible for delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 students. The ideal candidate must have teaching experience, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and knowledge of safeguarding procedures. This is a temporary role offering a daily rate of £150 - £250, starting on 15 October 2025.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching PE in secondary schools.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4pm

Core Education are proud to be working with a secondary school based in the Liverpool area. They are looking to recruit a passionate Secondary PE Teacher, with teaching experience in key stage 3 to deliver exciting, engaging lessons to their students.

Requirements
  • PE Teacher experience in secondary schools
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Secondary teacher of PE
  • Experience teaching PE
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Two professional references covering the last 2 years
