Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong subject knowledge across a variety of sports

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Contribute to a broad curriculum including invasion games, athletics, fitness and gymnastics.
• Lead and manage extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sports events.
• Monitor and track student progress using data to inform teaching.
• Differentiate tasks to support a range of abilities, including SEN and EAL learners.
• Promote a culture of health, fitness, and well-being across the school.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management in lessons and changing rooms.
• Organise and support inter-school competitions and sports days.
• Contribute to whole-school events and enrichment activities.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met in all physical activities.
