Job description

Thisis a vibrant and inclusive school dedicated to promoting a love for physical activity, teamwork, and well-being. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their dynamic team and inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum, covering a range of sports and physical activities.
  • Promote health, fitness, and teamwork through engaging lessons.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
  • Ensure all students are included and challenged appropriately.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation, and participation in lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school sports events and initiatives.

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE at [Key Stage 3/4/5].
  • A passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills as a PE Teacher.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety procedures in PE.
