GSL Education are currently seeking a motivated and experienced PE Teacher to work in schools across the Hathersage area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver dynamic PE lessons that encourage teamwork, skill development, and a love of sport.

Key Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop students’ physical skills, fitness, and understanding of healthy lifestyles.
• Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive and safe learning environment.
• Organise and support extracurricular sports activities and competitions.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote PE and sport throughout school.

Requirements for a PE Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Experience teaching PE in UK schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Enthusiasm for sports and promoting physical education.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
