Qualifications

Contract: Part Time – 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday)

GSL Education London Branch is excited to be recruiting a PE Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving comprehensive girls’ school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate PE Teacher to inspire and motivate young women to enjoy physical education and lead healthy, active lives.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for students across KS3 and KS4

Promote physical activity and wellbeing in and outside the classroom

Organise and supervise sports clubs, teams, and extra-curricular activities

Encourage participation and build confidence in students of all abilities

Assess and track student progress in line with the school’s policies

Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in lessons

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

Requirements for the PE Teacher role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools (KS3/KS4 essential)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passionate about PE and inspiring young people

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Available to work Thursdays and Fridays

Right to work in the UK
