Job description

This is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to fostering a love for sport and physical activity. We are dedicated to developing students’ confidence, teamwork, and overall well-being through a dynamic PE curriculum. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will inspire students of all abilities, promoting a positive attitude towards health and fitness. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Encourage student participation in a wide range of sports and physical activities
  • Develop extracurricular opportunities, including school teams and clubs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher
  • A commitment to promoting health, well-being, and teamwork
