Job description

This is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among their pupils. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to inspire their students and develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as a PE Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Plan and implement a broad and engaging physical education curriculum.
  • Promote the importance of health, fitness, and well-being.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities.
  • Prepare pupils for competitions, sports events, and school tournaments.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to embed physical activity across the school.
  • Ensure all pupils are included and supported in their physical development.

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent PE teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
  • Is passionate about sport and physical education.
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher.
  • Can inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
