The PWR team is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher for a vibrant secondary school in the diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and sporting excellence among a diverse student body within a supportive school community.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching a wide range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons, organizing and leading extracurricular sports clubs, and supporting school teams in competitions. A commitment to fostering participation and sportsmanship is essential.
We seek a teacher who can inspire students of all abilities to develop their physical skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. Both NQTs and experienced PE teachers are encouraged to apply. The role is on the Inner London pay scale, with a potential Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) available for candidates interested in leading a specific sport or aspect of school sport.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
