Reeson Education is recruiting a Female PE Teacher or Head of PE for a maternity cover in Tower Hamlets, East London. ASAP start, full-time role for September 2026, with potential to lead the PE department during the maternity absence.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE and Sports Studies, inspire students of all abilities, and join a supportive, established PE department in a successful secondary school.

Qualifications

• Experienced secondary PE teacher with maternity cover experience.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with strong communication skills.
• Confident, organised and able to lead a department when required.
• Available full time from September 2026.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Female PE Teacher or Female Head of PE to join a successful East London secondary school for a short-term maternity cover from September.

The school is happy to consider either an outstanding PE Teacher or an experienced Head of PE who can provide leadership to the department during the cover period.

ABOUT THE PE TEACHER ROLE

The successful Female PE Teacher / Head of PE will:

• Teach high-quality PE and Sports Studies
