PE Teacher Opportunities in Wadebridge, Cornwall

Vision for Education is currently seeking multiple PE Teachers to join a secondary school in the Wadebridge area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' physical education while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons and supporting students across a range of year groups. You will collaborate with other teaching staff, contribute to the development of lesson plans, and ensure that the highest standards of teaching are maintained. This position will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons to secondary school students
  • Support and guide students in their physical development and fitness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and effective learning environment
  • Maintain effective communication with staff members and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Requirements

To be considered for the PE Teacher position, you should:

  • Possess a strong understanding of how children learn in physical education
  • Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students to lead healthy, active lives
  • Exhibit a positive and proactive approach to teaching and continuous professional development
  • Be well-organised, punctual, and adaptable

  • Previous experience teaching PE at the secondary level is required
