Supply Desk is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Bushey. This full-time role is set to begin in September, making it an ideal opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to inspire young people through sport, fitness, and healthy living.

Job Description:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience.
  • Promote health, fitness, and well-being through a diverse and inclusive PE curriculum.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and school teams.
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to encourage achievement.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment aligned with the school’s behaviour policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student development and participation.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS or be a fully qualified PE Teacher with relevant experience in secondary education.
  • Be passionate about physical education and inspiring student engagement in sport and fitness.
  • Have excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL students.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to lead or contribute to school sports events and teams.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
