Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a PE Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Burnley. This is a full-time, temporary teaching role starting September 2025.

The role

The role will start September 2025 and have no set end date.

The school will potentially be looking to appoint permanently from September 2025 and so could also expect to transfer to a contract directly with the school for the new academic year.

The desired PE Teacher will be working with pupils across Key Stage 3 & 4 in a mainstream secondary school setting, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQT/ECT’s and experienced Teachers.

It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of PE Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Or have recent experience of teaching 11-16 year olds.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
