Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable PE teacher for a full-time role at a secondary school in Tottington, near Bury, covering 28 September to 30 November on an extended paternity placement. The role involves delivering engaging PE lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and supporting extracurricular sports.

The successful candidate will have QTS or equivalent, experience teaching secondary PE, and strong classroom management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching secondary PE is required.
• Availability for full assignment period (28 Sept – 30 Nov) is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Support extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures as needed.
• Work with a supportive PE department.
• Planning and marking will be completed by the Head of Department.
