DO YOU HAVE RELEVANT SPORTS QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE TEACHING PE WITHIN UK SECONDARY SCHOOLS?

If so... the team at Teaching Personnel have the role for you! We are working in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in the B37 area of Birmingham to appoint a passionate and experienced PE teacher to work full time.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Location: Birmingham, B37

Hours: Full time/ Flexible (adjustments can be made for the right applicant)

Rate of Pay: £150-250 (per day, dependent upon qualifications and experiences)

Start Date: ASAP (after Easter holidays)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. Relevant, recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
  3. Relevant sports/coaching qualifications
  4. Genuine passion for sport and developing young peoples abilities
  5. Experience working with/supporting children with special educational needs
  6. Knowledge and understanding of UK national curriculum for Physical Education

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Leading engaging and exciting PE lessons to a range of age groups and abilities
  2. Differentiating lessons to suit the individual needs within the class
  3. Assessing pupil progress on a regular basis
  4. Providing informative feedback for the pupils to help support them in their learning and development
  5. Collaborating with colleagues within the department
  6. Communicating effectively with all staff, pupils and parents
  7. Maintaining a committed stance to safeguarding and upholding the schools policies and procedures at all times
