PE Graduate - Teaching Assistant / Instructor

Job Title: PE Graduate - Teaching Assistant / Instructor

Location: Hull
Salary: £90 - £125 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: May 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Whether you’re considering a future in teaching, coaching, or youth development, this is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience!

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  • Support PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, assisting with the delivery of engaging and inclusive physical activities.
  • Lead small group sessions or warm-ups and encourage participation in sports and fitness.
  • Help manage behaviour, promote teamwork, and foster a positive sporting environment.
  • Assist with extracurricular clubs, sports days, and enrichment events.
  • Provide 1:1 or group support for students with additional needs or barriers to engagement.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and confident in leading activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with young people (school, coaching, volunteering) is desirable.
  • A positive role model who can inspire and motivate students.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
