Edgbaston High School for Girls is looking for an experienced and motivated Teacher to join our PE Department and to inspire the next generation of sporting prowess.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to share their passion for sport in general. They will have a very positive attitude and will be a great role model to our students. They will participate in the high class delivery of PE curriculum lessons, co-curricular clubs and in home and away fixtures across our Senior and Prep Schools.
We would be especially pleased to hear from applicants who are experienced in teaching Netball and Swimming. A NRASTC qualification would be beneficial, although training can be provided.

This position is a full-time maternity cover, starting in January 2025. It is initially a fixed term position for the Spring and Summer Terms. Teaching is mainly in the senior school (KS3 & 4) but there is also an expectation that the successful candidate will also teach a weekly KS2 Games (Netball) lesson.

Interviews will take place at Edgbaston High School for Girls during the week commencing 6th October. Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview and to prepare a lesson based on a specific brief. There will also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.
