Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking a skilled PDI Technician for a busy workshop in Blackpool. You will carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, perform servicing, maintenance and repairs, and ensure work meets manufacturer standards.

The role offers a £35,000–£37,000 basic salary with bonus and overtime, is full-time and permanent, and includes ongoing training and development within a professional team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider workshop team to meet deadlines
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on every vehicle
