Salary: Up to £33,000 plus overachievement bonus!

Lookers Colchester Jaguar Land Rover is recruiting a Mechanic / Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, servicing, and repairs.

You will report to the aftersales manager, who will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed. We offer career progression and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training.

Our technicians are vital to delivering excellent customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

We are currently recruiting for all levels:

Prep / PDI Technician, Service Technician, MOT Tester, Mechanic, Senior Tech / Diagnostic Tech, Master Technician

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience, and a valid UK driving license. You should be self-motivated, supportive of your team, ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to high standards.

Previous brand experience is desirable but not essential, as brand accreditation training will be provided. Experience with diagnostics, MOT, and EV is also desirable but not mandatory.
