Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is helping a client in Lincoln recruit a PDI Technician to prepare vehicles to the highest standards before handover. The role is full-time and permanent, based in a busy workshop, with a salary of £35,000–£37,000 basic plus bonus and overtime.

A proactive technician will join a professional team with strong development opportunities. The role involves pre-delivery inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and parts recording, all conducted to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider workshop team to meet deadlines
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on every vehicle

The Role

As a PDI Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing new and used vehicles to the highest standards before they reach the customer. From inspections and servicing to repairs and final quality checks, you'll play a key role in ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop

What We're Looking For
