Job summary

Logic360 is seeking a qualified PDI Technician in Kingsnorth to join a busy workshop. The role reports to the Workshop Manager and involves supervising trainees occasionally.

Key duties include preparing new vehicles to PDI schedules, performing safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections, and efficiently reporting defects with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new vehicles per PDI schedules for client fleets.
• Diagnose and report any vehicle defects.

• Perform PDIs, safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections.
• Liaise with workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
• Support trainees as needed.

Job Opportunity: PDI Technician

Location: Kingsnorth

Employment Type: Temporary

Working Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 07:00am 17:00pm

Salary: £15 per hour

Due to company success and expansion, our client is looking for a qualified PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician to join their highly motivated technical team within the one of our specialist workshops. This job reports to Workshop Manager. No direct reports other than occasional supervision of trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets
• Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
• Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
• Carry out PDIs / safety checks / levels checks and bodywork inspection on all types of vehicles
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members and working to deadlines
• Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency

Qualifications:

• Previous valid experience
• Full UK/EU driving licence.

Skills and Experience:

• Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality
• Brand experience is preferable, however manufacturer training will be supplied
• Ability to carry out PDI, safety, levels checks / bodywork inspections and report accurately
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines with set repair times whilst meeting set KPIs
• Positive and flexible attitude to work with a right first-time desire
