• Previous experience in a workshop environment.
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Repair.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.

Job Title: PDI Technician

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 basic salary, up to £39,000 OTE

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop based in Chelmsford. You’ll be working alongside a team of 15 skilled technicians, playing a crucial role in the pre-delivery inspection and preparation of new and used vehicles to approved standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with workshop experience who’s looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking, supportive company.

Working Hours
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmWeek 2: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm (on a rota basis)

PDI Technician Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles
• Servicing and preparing used cars to manufacturer standards
• Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
• Following all workshop procedures and health & safety guidelines

PDI Technician Requirements

• Previous experience in a workshop environment
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Repair
• Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK manual driving licence
• A positive attitude and team-player mindset
