Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a PD Coach to join our Student Services team at our Huntingdon Campus.

You will join us on a full time (37 hours), term time (40 weeks) basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between£27,061 - £28,844 per annum (equivalent to a full year salary of £29,770 - £31,732 per annum), plus staff benefits.

About the role:

The primary purpose of this job role is to provide guidance, coaching and support to full-time students (aged 14-24+) in order to support and motivate them to make good progress through their learning programmes and into further study or employment.

Some of the primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are:

  • To be part of the Student Support Services (the Hub) team, providing planned and responsive pastoral support for students to ensure that they continue to be engaged in learning and are successful in their studies.
  • To provide pastoral support and guidance to students and apprentices from across the college on a responsive basis
  • To signpost students to specialist services in the Hub and externally to ensure that appropriate choices are made and appropriate specialist resources are accessed
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of the personal development calendar by developing resources and running activities on key PD themes eg. pop-ups and competitions to engage, inform and develop students and apprentices in these.

  • A Level 3 qualification or substantial supervisory experience at work including coaching in employability skills.
