Job summary

A transportation provider in Kidderminster seeks an experienced Mechanic PCV/HGV. In this full-time permanent role, you will maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles. A competitive salary up to £20.50 per hour is offered along with ongoing training and development. You will also enjoy free travel for your family. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and experience working with PCVs or HGVs.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working on PCVs or HGVs.
• Full UK driving licence; PCV licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and inspections on PCVs/HGVs.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.
• Complete job cards, maintenance records, compliance documentation.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
• Support apprentices and less experienced engineers as needed.
